4. Performance Ratings

The student’s performance is presented in a graphic display of square bands. The national percentile rank earned by the individual lies near the center of a given band and it’s width represents any variation in measurement that might occur. The shaded and unshaded areas of the graph depict the various levels of performance (Low, Below Average, Average, Above Average, High) with the national percentile rank and stanine scales shown at the bottom for reference.
